Maintaining our level of excellence in health and safety is a major part of our culture.
Be they technical experts working on site or members of our administrative staff in one of our five offices, every member of the Laforge Environnement team is responsible for promoting independent and consistent health and safety practices.
Laforge Environnement requires every member of its staff and all persons present on worksites to comply with a code of conduct that aims to minimize risks, prevent injury and loss of life, and avoid any impact on the environment while promoting an inclusive and respectful workplace.
Our goal is to maintain an environment free of injuries or accidents that harm members of our team or the environment. We encourage our employees to demonstrate leadership when it comes to health and safety issues and we make this a key part of all our projects.

We promote our Health, Safety, Security, and Environment programs by putting people first and promoting a wide variety of actions to reinforce our commitment, including:
- Maintaining an active workplace health and safety committee engaged in ongoing site operations
- Integrating CNESST practices into our methods to control risks in the work environment
- Ensuring detailed follow-ups of near-misses and recordable incidents in the workplace
- Engaging with our clients, suppliers, and partners about the challenges of workplace health and safety
- Promoting an independent culture in the workplace
- Offering training activities to educate staff about proper health and safety practices
- Implementing control measures as part of health and safety practices, including Health and Safety at Work Plans for each project, and Job Safety Analyses on every worksite
- Promoting an environment that encourages our employees to openly discuss any potential health and safety problems that may compromise their safety or well-being at work
