Titre :  Accounting Clerk

Type : Full-time (37.5h/week)

Études : DEP or DEC in administration secretarial accounting or other relevant training

Expérience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.

Primary tasks

  • Answering the telephone and answering customers at reception
  • Invoice customers and track receivables
  • Enter and pay suppliers
  • Prepare and submit quotations
  • Track orders and handle returns
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager
  • Enter purchase invoices
  • Produce delivery notes
  • Produce accounting reports
  • Help prepare budget forecasts
  • Update current projects
  • Control and monitor actual and planned projects
  • Plan cash flow
  • Monitor raw material costs
  • Assist with inventory control
  • Assist with storage control
  • Monitor financial ratios and propose solutions
  • Take telephone messages
  • Manage accounts receivable
  • Enter invoices and payments in Avantage
  • Open Avantage files
  • Collect and manage deposits and collections
  • Enter supplier invoices in Avantage
  • Manage payroll data entry and posting in Ceridian and Avantage
  • Verify daily reports
  • Track credit card expenses
  • Perform any other related tasks

Technical skills

  • Good knowledge of current accounting regulations
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
