Marie-Josée Bhérer co-founded Laforge Environnement and is constantly redefining the company to develop a climate that promotes innovation, dedication, and excellence within her team. Ms. Bhérer is also the general manager of operations at our locations in Varennes and Lévis.

With a degree in environmental sciences from Université du Québec à Montréal and in environmental management from Collège de Rosemont, Ms. Bhérer was the Head of Environment and Health and Safety for five years at Camco inc., a subsidiary of General Electric. The company benefited from her skills in technical and regulatory areas as well as her ability to raise awareness among her teams. Ms. Bhérer helped implement the management system, contributed to monitoring and controlling hazardous materials, introduced new environmental procedures, took part in the development of a culture that respects the environment, and promoted health and safety at work. After her time with Camco inc., she became the Director of Operations and Logistics at Groupe Lavergne, a leader in the production of engineered resins and polymers, where she thrived within a meticulous management system (ISO 9001, TS 16949, and ISO 17025).
